JNCIA-Junos is the first level of Juniper Networks Certifications. After the completion of this course candidate will possess beginner-intermediate level knowledge of networking fundamentals and core functionality of the Juniper Networks routers & switches. Topics covered include Networking Fundamentals, Junos OS Fundamentals, User Interfaces, Juniper Router/Switch Configuration basics, operational monitoring and maintenance, Routing basics, routing policy and firewall filters.

JNCIA-Junos is the base certification in Juniper Networks certification programs and is a prerequisite for all higher Juniper Networks certifications. After completing this certification, candidate can move on to pursue any of the below certification tracks offered by Juniper Networks. Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA-Junos) is an entry-level certification that validates the skills and knowledge of networking professionals who design, build, and maintain networks using Juniper Networks Junos operating system. The JNCIA-Junos certification is a prerequisite for more advanced Juniper Networks certifications, such as the JNCIS-ENT and JNCIS-SP.
